Destination Vancouver

The Button below will take you to the Destination Vancouver website with travel information for visitors

Vancouver is the premier port on the west coast of Canada.  Conveniently located half way between Europe and Asia, Vancouver is known for its natural beauty, active lifestyle and great shopping.  From the downtown business district, take in breathtaking views across the harbor of forested mountains stretching from the sea to the snow line.  The adventurous can test their fear of heights on a trip up the Grouse Mountain cable car for views of the area, or brave the Calipano Suspension Bridge to explore the forest and canyon beyond.  Those that wish to keep their feet closer to the ground can explore the Seawall, a paved mostly level path runs 17.5 miles from the Convention Center around Stanley Park, past the Vancouver Aquarium, rocky points and sandy beaches to Granville Island, home to Vancouver’s most famous market place.
